Northgate Visa ConsultantsVisa consultancy website
Concept Project
  • Strategy
  • UX
  • Web Design
  • Development

Complex process. Calm experience.

Visa applications can feel uncertain before the process even begins. Northgate was imagined as a consultancy website that replaces confusion with calm guidance, clear expectations and an obvious next step.

The challenge

Consultancy websites often overwhelm visitors with document lists, service categories and formal language before establishing trust. A potential applicant needs to understand three things quickly: whether the business can help, what the process looks like and how to begin.

The direction

Build the experience around reassurance rather than information density. Organise the journey into clear stages, surface essential requirements gradually and make expert support feel accessible without making unrealistic promises.

The response

A composed visual system, structured service pathways, clear document guidance and focused enquiry actions create an experience that feels professional without becoming distant or bureaucratic.

Functionality considered

  • Visa-service discovery
  • Eligibility and requirement guidance
  • Document checklist
  • Structured enquiry journey
  • Consultation CTA
  • Mobile-first contact actions
  • Trust and review presentation
  • Secure document-upload direction for a future phase

Intended outcome

Help prospective applicants feel informed enough to take the next step while positioning the consultancy as organised, credible and easy to work with.

Harbour Lane CaféHospitality website
Concept Project
  • Brand Direction
  • Web Design
  • Local Discovery

The online version of “we should go there.”

Harbour Lane was imagined for an independent neighbourhood café whose atmosphere is part of what it sells. The website needed to create appetite, personality and a reason to visit before someone reached the menu.

The challenge

Many café websites are either visually attractive but unhelpful, or functional but forgettable. Visitors still need immediate access to the menu, opening hours, location and reservations without losing the feeling that makes the place distinctive.

The direction

Treat the website like the beginning of the visit. Lead with atmosphere and character, then make practical information effortless to find. Every detail should make the café feel local, warm and worth leaving the house for.

The response

Editorial food imagery, tactile typography, warm neutral surfaces and a playful but disciplined layout bring personality forward while keeping the menu, directions and booking actions immediately accessible.

Functionality considered

  • Menu presentation
  • Opening hours
  • Location and directions
  • Table enquiry or reservation
  • Seasonal specials
  • Events
  • Instagram connection
  • Mobile-first call and map actions

Intended outcome

Turn casual local discovery into real-world visits by making the café feel memorable, easy to find and easy to choose.

Ironline Strength StudioFitness studio website
Concept Project
  • Positioning
  • Web Design
  • Membership Journey

Strong without screaming.

Ironline was imagined for a serious independent strength studio that wanted to feel confident and capable without relying on aggressive fitness clichés.

The challenge

Fitness websites often compete through louder colours, harder promises and intimidating imagery. That can alienate beginners while making established studios look interchangeable. Ironline needed to communicate expertise, structure and momentum without turning intensity into noise.

The direction

Position strength training as a disciplined, supported practice. Make the coaching approach, available programmes and first-visit experience easy to understand before asking someone to join.

The response

A dark, disciplined visual system, direct language, powerful spacing and structured programme information create confidence without aggression. Clear introductory actions help first-time visitors move from curiosity to conversation.

Functionality considered

  • Programme discovery
  • Coach profiles
  • Membership options
  • Trial-session enquiry
  • Timetable
  • Studio information
  • FAQ
  • Mobile contact actions

Intended outcome

Attract committed members while making the studio approachable to people who are serious about starting but unsure where they belong.

The thread between them

Different businesses.The same responsibility.

Understand what customers need to feel, remove what makes the decision harder and build a website that expresses the business with clarity. The style changes. The standard does not.

01

Clarity before decoration

A distinctive website still needs to make the business, its value and the next step immediately understandable.

02

Character without noise

Personality should make a business more recognisable—not make the experience more difficult to use.

03

Built for the real journey

Every page and interaction should support how customers actually discover, evaluate and contact the business.
